The stabilisation of the dew point is essential for obtaining reliable process data in many gas analysis areas.
This requirement becomes more important by the trend of physical volume reduction, although a better performance of key components are demanded increasingly. The globalisation of applications, however, changes the standards of ambient conditions, but the same or higher request for accurate and reliable data are demanded.
The new series of PKE 5 gas coolers follows these guidelines. The optimised semi conducting cooling system of the widely applied PKE 4 version and the implementation of new designed controller based on microprocessor enables precise stabilisation of the dew point in two independent gas streams. The new cooling system even overrides the outstanding performance of the PKE 4 in ambient temperatures above 35°C and more over it can accommodate dual gas stream heat exchangers. .
The controller displays the operating temperature of the system, the unit is self checking and provides alarm outputs, the dew point can be reprogrammed if required by the application.
The heat exchangers are application specific available in stainless steel, glass or PVDF. Power supply can be either 115 or 230 V 50/ 60 cycle AC.
